Return & Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions and fees for FeatureSignals, a product of Vivekananda Technology Labs. It covers our hosted SaaS offering and is written in line with common practices for Indian and international software companies.

1. Nature of the product

FeatureSignals provides digital IT services(access to software hosted by us). Fees cover ongoing access, support tiers as described in your plan, and related infrastructure — not physical goods. Since this is a digital service, traditional "return" of a physical product does not apply.

2. Refund duration and mode

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experience a billing error, you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge date. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval, depending on your bank or payment provider.

3. Free trial

Where we offer a free trial, you can use the service for the stated trial period without charge unless you add a payment method and explicitly upgrade to a paid plan. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, access to paid features may end automatically.

4. Subscription fees

Paid plans are generally billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) as shown at checkout or in your account. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge the applicable fees using your chosen payment method.

5. Refund eligibility

  • Billing errors: If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 14 days of the charge. After we verify an error attributable to us or our payment processor, we will correct the charge or issue a refund to the original payment method.
  • Duplicate charges: Accidental duplicate payments will be refunded to the original payment method after verification.
  • General policy: Except as above or as required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started, because the service is delivered continuously during that period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time when you cancel mid-cycle unless we agree otherwise in writing or the law in your jurisdiction requires it.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the laws of India or your country of residence.

6. Downgrades and plan changes

If you move to a lower tier or reduce seats, pricing adjustments will apply from the next billing cycle unless we specify otherwise at the time of the change.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@featuresignals.com with your account email, invoice or transaction reference, and a description of the issue. We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue. Unresolved chargebacks may result in suspension of access until the dispute is cleared.

9. Open-source self-hosting

The FeatureSignals software is available under the Apache-2.0 license for self-hosting. This Refund Policy applies to paid hosted services from us, not to third-party infrastructure or support you purchase elsewhere.
